Support » Plugin: Quick Cache (Speed Without Compromise) » Quick cache specify pages

  • Is there a way I can specify specific pages/groups of pages to cache. For example, if I get Pingdom to look at my site it points out that I could specify a longer expiration for files with .css or .js – how can I do that in this plugin? I realise I can set a cache expiration but don’t want to have all my pages expiring after, say, one week. What do you suggest?

I also have a long list of files which Pingdom recommends:

“Serve the following static resources from a domain that doesn’t set cookies”. I suppose QC can’t help with this…

  • Acutally QC just caches pages that would normally be processed on the server (e.g. php requests). So it does nothing to help you with js/css expiry time. You could set the expiry for those types in your htaccess file.

As for the “cookie” thing you could create say a 2ndary domain on your domain e.g. “” and serve your js and css files from there. Doing so will result in a different domain from your main site and won’t serve cookies for them.
