 * Hi !
 * I set 1 year for expiration time. But it’s annoying that everytime I publish
a new post or add a new tag, all cache gets deleted.
    Please, what do you think
about a new option that allow admins to choose what pages need to clear after
publishing new post ? I mean: just homepage/front pages, a certain category or
whatever. But only when **I want it**.
 * Also I intend to add in the sidebar an iframe that contains widgets for Last
Comments/ Posts. This way, cached page wouldn’t care about new content of the
   Widgets.
I have Weaver theme that produces 4 versions for every page. And I
have to delete and add a lot of tags, modify category descriptions, remove mistakes
from the published articles, and I really can’t rebuild cache everytime I do
minor changes. I have the cheapest hosting. BTW: Home page is updating after
every little change, and this way Google wait more when it’s indexing homepage.
 * Thank you !

 * Ohh, I just remember to check the Pro features 🙂 I am sorry for not reading
   first.
Well, that leaves only updating Tags and Category events. I would by
the Pro if you add this feature.
 * What do you think about the trick with widgets in iframe ? Could I use Widget
   cache with quick cache ?

 * There is a feature request currently open to allow specifying the URIs that should
be purged when the cache is cleared: [https://github.com/WebSharks/Quick-Cache/issues/111](https://github.com/WebSharks/Quick-Cache/issues/111)
 * However, I see what you’re saying about being able to have even finer control
over how other things are purged, like specifically what gets purged when a post
is updated. I think that might be a good idea. I’ll put some more thought into
this if you [open a feature request](https://github.com/WebSharks/Quick-Cache/issues/new?title=Feature%20Request:%20%3Cshort%20description%3E&labels=enhancement)
for this (maybe call it something like “Enhanced control over post cache clearing
   behavior”).

 * The next release of Quick Cache will greatly improve on Category and Tag clearing
and it will be a lot more intelligent about when it clears the cache so that
it’s not getting cleared all the time. This work is already done, so this is
definitely coming with the next release.
 * The next release should be out within the next few weeks but if you’re interested
in testing a beta release of Quick Cache before the next version comes out, please
   sign-up to be a beta tester [here](http://www.websharks-inc.com/r/quick-cache-beta-testers-list/).

 * That trick might work, yes. Unfortunately there’s no easy way for Quick Cache
to exclude dynamic widgets from the cache at this time, but if you’d like to
   [open a feature request](https://github.com/WebSharks/Quick-Cache/issues/new?title=Feature%20Request:%20%3Cshort%20description%3E&labels=enhancement),
   that would be great.

Thank you for most complete answer ! I rated sometime
ago 5 stars for Quick Cache. No disappointment so far 🙂
