    Hello Alessandro,

I have placed a website on another server with the same domain name and same email boxes.

If I want to send a newsletter now, the test mail works – I also use Easy WP SMTP – test emails also work correctly there.

However, placing a newsletter in the queue, or select immediately sending it, remains at 0%

I do not use subscribers but only registered users, previously it worked perfectly

Any idea what I could do/test?

    Thanks, as always 🙂

    Gunu

    Found this in your FAQ….

Otherwise, there is an option to load only plugin javascript files, or create the list without ajax when newsletter is saved: go to Newsletters → Settings → tab Newsletter.

It now seems to work but any idea what the cause is?

    Hi gunu.
Are you able to create list of recipients and, after you close the popup and after time, the progress in newsletter list remains blocked at 0%?
Or you open the popup to create list of recipients, click the button to create it and the creation remains blocked at 0%?
Reading your first post I think the 2nd case, right? In this case it could be a javascript error. Can you see any js error in browser console when you click the button to create list?

    Hello Alessandro,

The normal way – Ajax (standard) – was to publish a newsletter and then provide it with recipients. Nothing will be sent yet. Then I opened the popup window and could send a test mail.
I could also close this popup window again and still no newsletters are sent, so far everything was correct and manageable.

When Ajax is switched off, and publishing the newsletter (subscribers then selected) it is immediately put in the queue and the sending is started…. oops this is not convenient. There is now no possibility to send a test. Correct?

Hi gunu, those javascript warnings should not be blocking for the sending.
Sorry, I don’t understand: after you open the modal to create list of recipients, are you able to click “Send now” or “Add to queue” button and see the progressive creation? (Like in screenshot https://ps.w.org/alo-easymail/trunk/screenshot-4.png )
Or, after you click, does the progress remain to 0%?

    Alessandro,
the popup with “Send now” or “Add to queue” button I see but after I click, the progress remains to 0% that’s correct.

I did another test in the same website/location. I have created a separate group with 1 subscriber. This time it worked… (again).

Because there are currently no real newsletters – this is a live site – I will have to wait to see if it works with all (1590) subscribers again.

Hi gunu, so if after button click the progress remoains to 0% there could be some errors: you should look at browser console after you click the button and also look at php log error of your server.

Hi gunu, about “Error: Minified React error” they are errors related to React javascript library. Maybe you have some plugins using this library. Did you already try to temporary disable all plugins to see if the issue disappear?

About the last log, these kind of errors are caused by a timeout during the cron execution (/wp-cron.php?doing_wp_cron=….). So, they are not related directly with recipient list creation, because this one does not use the cron. EasyMail uses cron only to send programmatically newsletters after you created the recipient list using “Add to queue” action.
Are you using other plugins that use cron to make any kind of action?

    Hello Alessandro,

because it is a production site I could not test, therefore the long time before I could respond.

The problem was there after this webiste was placed on a different server, no new plugins were added at the time. It worked correctly for that

So it has to be the server settings and yes… problem was in the PHP version, it was outdated on that server.

Problem solved now that I have adjusted it

Thank you for your comments and suggestions!
