We are implementing a solution that will use Paid Member Pro, WooCommerce and WCFM Multivendor. (

When a user signs up, we would like them to choose a role among researchers, association leaders, vendors, and customers.

Each role will have its own membership plan with a different trial period.

    – We know WooCommerce has its own registration engine. Paid Membership Pro is a terrific registration management plugin. WCFM Multivendor has its own membership, membership, role, and membership pricing engine.

WooCommerce allows a user to sign up as a vendor or a regular customer.

WCFM places the user into 2 different roles. It integrates with WooCommerce well. A vendor can set up a store. A customer can not.

Can we let Paid Membership Pro handle all the registration and allowing the users to choose different pricing plans?

How to avoid registration function of different plugins conflict with each other.

    – We also would like the user to be redirected to different pages when logging in. Can Paid Membership Pro help handle that?

    Thanks a lot

    Hi Jing,

Thank you for using Paid Memberships Pro.

To simplify this, you may be able to use the WooCommerce Integration for Paid Memberships Pro (which is available on and sell your memberships through WooCommerce. That way a user would be able to purchase other products and buy their membership all through WooCommerce checkout. Please note that you would need to use WooCommerce Subscriptions to allow WooCommerce to do recurring billing (if you want to automatically bill users).

If you want to keep all registrations through Paid Memberships Pro, your site setup will require a bit of custom code if you want to achieve custom roles on checkout with Paid Memberships Pro. We do have a Roles for Membership Levels Add On available, but this only assigns 1 custom role based on the user’s membership level.

You are able to use the Member Homepages Add On to redirect members on login, based on their membership level or use a third-party login redirect plugin to redirect user’s based on role.

I hope this helps get you started.
