Questions On 301 Redirect Migrating Blog.Site.com To Site.com

  • Hi I am moving my blog.capeholidays.info to capeholidays.info

All urls will be the same except the blog.capeholidays.info part. 😉

I had a look at Cpanel to see if I could use the 301 redirect there. But it only works on the domain capeholidays.info and and not on blog.capeholidays.info

I then considered a few 301 plugins and most of them looks very familiar. You have the “dead” url being directed to the new url.

I want to kill the old blog.capeholidays.info and only have capeholidays.info.

Does this mean I can add a 301 plugin to capeholidays.info and then set it up to redirect all old urls to capeholidays.info?

    Thanks
