Thank you for this beautiful plugin

I did also want to point out an issue I noticed. It seemed to only read that of the editor contents description, so for web blogs that make use of advanced custom fields to also list content descriptions, it seems those words don’t get counted.

As for now i just changed it to be called Intro reading time:

In all thank you very much for this plugin and God bless you

    Hey @keshabee!

The plugin only calculates the estimated read time of your content that’s in the main content loop, i.e. displayed with the_content(). That includes shortcodes and custom fields. As it turns out, it doesn’t consider custom fields that are displayed outside of main content, for example those added later in your template. Sorry about that!

Anyhow, thank you for your kind words. We really appreciate it! If you like our plugin, we’d love it if you could leave us a review.

    Have a great day! 🙂

    I had let a review
I hope in the feature there would be a possibility to have a function that can read custom-fields text area word counts and allow all words to be collated to find the whole word count to discover full read time.

In all thank you very much.
