Questions about wp_rss_retriever plugin

    I use wp_rss_retriever to load and format an RSS feed from a client. I know this plugin has been abandoned and so I’d like to ask anyone for suggestions on these questions:

    1. Does anyone know where the cache is stored? It doesn’t seem to work at all. Do I need to make a cache directory?

    2. Does anyone have a suggestion for an alternate plugin that has the same capabilities? The great thing about wp_rss_retriever is that you can set a number of different formatting parameters. The bad thing is that it takes too long to display an RSS feed.

    I’m assuming that some of you have already gone through these issues and can help me out. Thanks!
