Community Live Blogging?

Rather than live blogging, I think this would be perfect for sharing information on idea blogs or about specific topics, but it would only work if the community was part of the collaboration.

1) Is there an easy way to allow readers to submit posts similar through this liveblog plugin how they might semi-anonymously add comments?

2) If # 1 is possible, is there a way to add some form of captcha or honeypot to this quick post form similar to a comment form?

If this is a no go, I’d be interested if anyone knows of a similar solution. WP Front End would be too much as I’d prefer to not force users to create accounts, log in, have a dashboard, etc., but more to leave quick contributions to an idea or topic.
