First off, I really hope this works for me, thank you!
My live server and dev server are significantly out of sync.
* Both live and dev servers have had different files added to them and not the other one.
* On dev, I have imported and exported pages so the IDs are all different from live.
– There are places where I need to reference the specific ID of a page or of a media item.
1. When you do a push, does it REPLACE all of the media? or just ADD?
2. If it adds them, does the item get a new ID?
* I use Download Monitor to manage downloads. I upload these Download files in a different area outside of Media Library. The Downloads have different attributes from the Media Library. Also, when I want to link to a download I need to use the ID. e.g. [download id=”123″] … and because I the sites are out of sync, on dev it could be id=”123456″ versus “123”
3. Can it sync the Downloads?
4. Can the IDs of the Downloads stay the same? Or if they change, still work?
5. Do all the pages get pushed over?
