Question: setting maximum memory Wordfence can use.

  • Hello,

In wordfence configuration, the option “Maximum memory Wordfence can use” is initially set to default (256MB). I’m experimenting run out memory problems in one of my webs, so I would like to know how much I can reduce this parameter?

Thank you in advance! Best regards.

This is a good question. I’m about ready to uninstall the plugin as it freezes up so often that it seems not to be worth the hassle. I’ve turned off all the other plugins and it will still freeze up. I’ve set the memory it can use back to 128MB even though the host says 256MB is ok (that is what is set in the php.ini).
