# Question Regarding Exporting – Please Help!

 * Hello,
 * I have two WordPress Blogs. I want to transfer all the pages from my one WordPress
   blog to my other one. However, the pages are relatively highly ranked on Google
   and I don’t want to throw away the visibility/SEO of them. If I export them to
   the new blog, will they still be ranked up there except on the new domain, or
   will the process of getting ranked start over?

 * Changing domains will always have an effect on traffic. Any backlinks pointing
   to:
 * [http://www.domainA.com/blog/cool-post](http://www.domainA.com/blog/cool-post)
 * will be lost when moved to:
 * [http://www.domainB.com/blog/cool-post](http://www.domainB.com/blog/cool-post)
 * The content will still be read and picked up by Google, so if the content is 
   highly-optimised, it may be minimal loss, but backlinks and any links will definately
   be lost. Just depends on how much SEO was applied.
 * If the topic isn’t too competitive then it will most likely feature high too.
