# Question: Optimize HTML

* Hey Frank,
Quick question – Optimize HTML doesn’t “cache” the HTML does it?
Is it just minifying on-the-fly or is it actually minifying and then storing
that minified HTML file which is then served up instead?

* Ahhh, OK brilliant – cheers Frank! Just wanted to clarify, as there was some
weird behaviour going on with my caching plugin 🙂 It was holding onto “old”
gravatar references for some reason.
