Question of two teams with same points in league table

    Usually in cricket when two teams have the same points then NRR ( Net Run Rate ) decides which team to show up in the rank of the league table but it’s not working that way as you can check in this screenshot also where Pos 3 team has negative NRR and Pos 4 team with positive and both team with same points…Is there any way to make this correct? Thanks

    What settings do you have at SportsPress->Configure->Table Columns ; Did you set NRR order setting?

    I set the order number 49 https://prnt.sc/3wILZtYE9Bp3 as I want that NRR column to appear in the last of the league table, I think something to do with that sort order thing which looks disabled in my above screenshot so I enable it and select 1 there but then league table shows like this https://prnt.sc/ZV4t7CPj8BHG and this is also wrong so I think something wrong in my setting…Please advice. Thanks

    Hi @itsrahul7986 ,

    Yes you are right. The “sort order” setting is the one you need. As you can see at my follow screenshot, I set the “sort order” of “Pts” to 1 and DESC. For “GD” I set it to 2 and ASC. So my League Table will be sorted first by the “Pts” column in Descending order and then (if needed) will be sorted again based on “GD” in Ascending order. I hope my example was clear enough 🙂

    Yes. thank you. In my case I have to set both Pts and NRR in Descending order to get it correct Pos.

    I am glad you… sorted it out 🙂

    If you need to have some “complex” Head 2 Head tiebreaking criteria then you can try also the Advanced H2H for SportsPress plugin.
