Simple 301 Redirects

    Does the Simple 301 Redirect plugin work in the WordPress Multisite (MU) configuration?

    Yup, it works just fine in Multisite installations. I'm using it on a network with several hundred sites. It will store the redirects in the options table for the individual site.

    I am not sure if I am barking up the right tree or not. I am hosting a multisite wordpress installation on a system in my department. Our central IT for the university is in charge of the main DNS Server. When our site was complete, we had them redirect our website URL to the IP address of the system we are hosting the site on. I am running wordpress on IIS8. The site works fine, but when you type any of the subsites off of the link
    ex. http://www.mysite.com/subsite
    it never goes to that folder or site. It just goes back to the home page of the site. Everything is fine if you use the real name of the system hosting the site. Would this be a redirect issue?

    Hopefully this make sense. Thanks for any help that can be offered.

    Hey Jarchual... this thread is regarding the Simple 301 Redirect plugin. Are you using that plugin? If not then technically you should start a different thread.

    That said, did you try http://www.mysite.com/subsite/page_name ?

    Let me know if you start another/different thread.
