Question about To field

    Hi, just a quick question.

    I have 3 forums for each role:
    1) Editors forum – hidden
    2) Contributors forum – private for contributors only w/bbP Private Group
    3) Subscribers forum – public

    It doesn’t seem I can create different notification per forums. When I create a “New Topic” notification and placed all 3 roles into the To field, I need to make sure the restrictions are still honored. I need to avoid a post to Editors notified to the contributors and the subscribers. Thank you for any feedback.

    Hi @madflute,
    Thanks for your message.

    BNFW doesn’t haven’t any specific forum integrations as yet, which is why you’re not seeing notifications that are able to target a specific forum. You *may* be able to use the Conditional Notifications add-on to target specific categories in a forum but this would be untested.

    For now, can you tell me what forum plugin you’re using so I can investigate an integration at a later date?

    Sorry I didn’t realize bnfw doesn’t work with bbPress. It seems bnfw isn’t overwriting the bbPress default so this support request may be moot. Sorry about that.
