Support » Plugin: W3 Total Cache » Question about ‘Non-trailing slash pages’ Option

  • I noticed on the Page Cache settings page, there is an option called ‘Non-trailing slash pages,’ where you can set W3TC to (according to the description), ‘Cache the specified pages even if they don’t have tailing slash.’ (that typo is there btw in case you want to fix it)

Just wondering if I am to confer from this that if I set up a permalink structure such as, /%category%/%postname% (without trailing slash), that all those pages without a trailing slash would not be cached unless listed in this option? I prefer a link structure without trailing slash, so I’m just curious.

    Thanks.

Okay, got it. Thanks for all the help, you’ve been great. Honestly, I’d much prefer you told me this was a dumb question than simply ignoring me.
