 * In the “Templates and Themes” forum, I started this thread:
 * [http://wordpress.org/support/topic/279994?replies=3](http://wordpress.org/support/topic/279994?replies=3)
 * No one there provided any input so I’m asking my new question here.
 * Basically, I’m wondering if it’s ok to modify get_comment_link() to have specify
   an anchor that points to the top of the page after a comment is submitted instead
   of pointing to the newly entered comment, itself.
 * I have just upgraded to WP 2.8.1 even though I started out using WP 2.7.1. What
   I want to avoid is touching the main WP code such that I can continue to do upgrades
   without having to re-implement my tweaks each time.
 * Can I safely modify get_comment_link() or implement one somewhere in my custom
   template that provides the behavior I need?
 * Thanks!
 * Peace…
