# Question about file uploads

 * Hi! I have the NinjaFirewall installed and it logged an entry where a machine
   in the Russian Federation was allowed to upload a file named “wp-root.php” to
   my WordPress site somewhere. I looked in the “uploads” directory and couldn’t
   find the file. Any ideas on how I can find out where the file was uploaded?

 * Thanks for the reply! Here is where my post went. 🙂 I posted it elsewhere and
   couldn’t find it later on to update it.
 * This turned out to be a false alarm and all is well. I’ve made some NinjaFirewall
   changes to help better protect against what I thought was a successful hacking
   attempt. I’ve already scanned the site, looked through a number of WordPress 
   folders, and contacted the NinjaFirewall author. It turns out others have experienced
   this same kind of issue and based on what I’ve read, I consider my experience
   to be a false alarm.
