On the admin menu of my website is a “feedback” section. I’m seeing valuable feedback posted by my visitors that I was unaware of. First, how are they submitting this feedback and, second, can I set a notification to alert me when feedback has been submitted? Thank you, community!!

“feedback” section is not the default feature of WordPress core,.

1). Are you using a plugin for this feature? Yes? What’s the full name of this plugin? Where did you download it from?

2). Is this a feature of your active theme? Yes? What’s the full name of this theme? Where did you download it from?

3). Or, when you say “feedback”, do you mean comments that people leave on your articles?

Thanks, t-p, for weighing in. I have determined that the “feedback” is coming from a contact form. I thought it was part of the core because of the way it presents on my page creation interface. I went through all of my plugins and can’t find it. I also tried creating a new page using the form, thinking that I could set notifications as part of that process, but no dice. The form just drops in when I click the button without options. BUT, I do see that one of my forms has edits, so there has to be something somewhere. It’s very frustrating. I haven’t worked on that part of my site in four or five years and I’ve forgotten what I did. Is it possible that this is part of the jetpack plugin? I went through all those settings, but maybe I need to dig deeper. I don’t have any active plugins that are solely dedicated to contact forms. My theme is a Genesis Minimum Child Theme. I don’t see anything in those settings.

If you are not using any other contact form plugin, then it’s possible.

In that case, I recommend asking at https://wordpress.org/support/plugin/jetpack so the plugin’s developers and support community can help you with this.
