Support » Plugin: Show-Hide / Collapse-Expand » Question About Down Arrow and Width

  • Resolved sevin

    I just purchased this plugin today and really like it, but I’m having two problems.

    First, the down arrow isn’t showing up. I put icon=”arrow” in the preset but it’s not doing anything.

    Second, the button is much wider than I want, stretching all the way across the screen. Is there a way to change that?

    Hello @sevin,

    Thanks for supporting us by buying the pro version.

    It’s a conflict with your theme’s css, but please download the latest version (1.3.3) from our site, it fixes the conflict.

    If you have any other questions/issues regarding the pro version, please email us at

    Thanks, I just sent you an email.

    My preset doesn’t seem to be working. I set the text to be larger, bold, and centered, but it’s not working. You can see it here:

    Here is my code:

    view=”button-blue” icon=”arrow” color=”#ffffff” expand_text=”Read More” collapse_text=”Close” state=”closed” inline_css=”font-size:22px;” inline_css=”font-weight:bold;” inline_css=”text-align:center;”

    Is there anything wrong with it?

    Hello @sevin,

    Please use inline_css=”font-size:22px;font-weight:bold;text-align:center;”. All custom css in one shortcode parameter.

    Together with centering the button, it will look like:

    inline_css=”font-size:22px;font-weight:bold;text-align:center;margin: 0px auto;display: block;”

    Let me know if this solves your issue.

    Best regards

    I changed the code and cleared my cache again but that didn’t work.

    Hey @sevin,

    Please check your shortcode. What I see on your website in the inline_css parameter is

    Please make sure that you insert css rules correctly, without extra quotation marks and double semicolons.

    I hope this helps.

    That fixed the text size and font weight. It is still not centered, though. Here’s what I have:

    view=”button-blue” icon=”arrow” color=”#ffffff” expand_text=”Read More” collapse_text=”Close” state=”closed” inline_css=”font-size:22px;font-weight:bold;text-align:center;”

    I appreciate your help.

    I don’t know if you noticed my last reply, but the button is still not centered, even with everything set up the way you described.

    Hello @sevin,

    I wrote the solution in one of my previous replies. Please use the following inline css:

    inline_css=”font-size:22px;font-weight:bold;text-align:center;margin:0px auto;display:block;”

    Best regards
