I am writing this message because I would like to ask you a question about the user registration function in WordPress.
I have a potential customers who wants an ecommerce site. I have decided to go with Worpress and use specific ecommerce site themes/
Detailed description of the topic
The customer wants to display prices for products for all people who visit the website. On the other hand he wishes to display different prices for the same products for all registered users.
More precisely the procedure he imagines is the following:
A user x comes to visit the eshop and checks out the products and their prices. If the user x represents a company, he may click a button to register in the website. He has to put his name, email, phone number and company registration number and click register.
The website admin receives the visitors demand, verifies the information provided by contacting him and if everything is OK, he sends him a password. When the user x is connected to the site with the password, he can see the whole site but the products prices are different (lower prices) than the prices for all other users who are not registered.
Could you please let me know if the above is possible with wordpress registration fuction and if yes how?
Thank you very much for your help in advanced. I really appreciate that.
