# Question About Config

 * The last few times I’ve downloaded and installed WP I’ve noticed that the PHP
   is not closed in wp-config.php. Is this on purpose or is it an error? I’ve been
   closing it and it seems to work fine but I decided I should ask because maybe
   it’s supposed to be left open?

 * I believe it is intentional. Something to do with closing tags and minimizing
   the potential errors caused by erroneous white space when editing. That’s just
   my interpretation, though.
