# question about backup duration

 * I’m currently backing up my database.
    I followed steps using phpMyAdmin of the
   Codex. I clicked on “Go” (step 9). Now files are downloading since about 20 min.
   but the dialog box doesn’t mention content or how long it will take. It seems
   like it’s going on forever.
 * Is this normal?
    Should I just abort and try again?
 * Thanks!

    I aborted, started again and it worked now.
