Hi All, The Avada support forums are shut down so I’ll try to post my question here. If this question is inappropriate just delete it.

I’m thinking of purchasing Avada. In order to learn how to use it I want to build various test Avada websites on my localhost WAMP stack. Do I need to purchase a separate Avada theme for each localhost site? I’m guessing I don’t but I want to make sure.

I understand I need to purchase a separate Avada theme for each live publicly available website.

I didn’t see any way to send this question to Avada unless I make the purchase first. Seems there’s no way to submit pre-purchase questions to theme-fusion. If there is, let me know. Is there an Avada support forum out there that does not require an Avada purchase to join?

    Thanks.

Here’s what is normally placed replied with when a commercial theme question comes up.

For pro or commercial product support please contact the author directly on their site.

    https://theme-fusion.com/support/

As the author is aware, commercial products are not supported in these forums. As you are their customer I am sure they will have no problem supporting you there.

That includes pre-sales questions. I’m pinging that company on Twitter and if I see a place for you to contact them for pre-sales questions I’ll reply back here.

OK, looks like my question was not appropriate. Sorry about that. Just delete this thread if that is required. I double checked and there seems to be no way to ask Themefusion pre-sales questions. Sigh. Oh, well.

Have more faith in humanity. 😉 I tweeted them about it and they replied. See this tweet, it has an email that you can send them your question.

The email for them is right there. I’m not posting the email here as I have an allergic reaction to doing that…

OK, I sent my q to them using the email address in the twitter post. It hasn’t bounced back yet so so far so good. Thanks for your help!

I promise I’ll never post a question here again about a commercial theme. 🙂 I’m a WPress newbie. Thanks for your patience.

    Kind Regards

    Hello!

Pre-sales questions can be asked through our Themeforest item page in comment section, http://themeforest.net/item/avada-responsive-multipurpose-theme/2833226/comments

Or you can definitely email us as well as the tweet states. We’ve replied to the email also.

For theme support, we provide it through our support center ticket system now so the forums are no longer active. We made that change a few months back.

Anyone who has bought Avada gets free theme support from our team, simply signup at our support center then submit a new ticket: http://theme-fusion.com/support-ticket/

To answer your query, you do not need to buy a new license for each time you install it on a local host. However please do make sure you buy a license for any finished / published site, which is following the license rules. So if you just need to setup a test site or dev site locally, you can use a copy you already bought, but once the site goes live you will need individual license for each site it is used on.

    Thanks!
