# Question about attachment_id

 * Hello,
 * I am using the standard [gallery] short code, when I click on one of those images
   in the gallery, I get taken to:
 * `?attachment_id=146`
 * Where can I edit this template?
 * Thanks for the help

 * Look for attachment.php or image.php in your theme. If you don’t have either 
   of these, then your images will be using the single.php template. Failing that,
   index.php.

 * Thanks esmi … but no luck. I played with attachment.php, image.php, single.php
   and index.php and nothing.

 * If there’s an image.php file in the theme, it should be used. Followed by attachment.
   php etc. What do you have in image.php?
