# Querying Jetpack stats

 * I would like to have a plain text widget to display the total number of visitors
   to my site in the sidebar. I can’t find any way of placing a query in order to
   get the number. Worse, I’m new to all this so have no idea if I am expressing
   myself correctly.
 * Essentially, what I want to be able to do is have this as a text widget:
 * ***
 * The total number of visitors to this site is [put something in here to call up
   the number] because no one likes me very much
 * ***
 * (or something).
 * I suspect it doesn’t make any difference, but should you need it my site URL 
   is [http://www.petemarchetto.com](http://www.petemarchetto.com). Should you visit
   it, you will find a site counter already there, but I was using SlimStat which
   I have since uninstalled, its figures not agreeing with those from Jetpack anyway.

 * Jetpack doesn’t include such stat counter at the moment, but we’re considering
   adding such a widget to Jetpack in the future. You can follow our progress here:
