    Hi Darren,

Hope you’re well :)! Quick query, is this possible, please see the shortcode below:

    [ajax_load_more post_type=”post” tag__not_in=”41″ taxonomy=”location:specialism” taxonomy_terms=”cambridge, london:international-expansion, managing-people” taxonomy_operator=”IN:IN” taxonomy_relation=”OR”]

Basically the problem I have with the above is that because I am using : taxonomy_relation=”OR” it is treating the relationship between everything as OR, whereas what I need is that it treats the tag__not_in=”41″ and Custom Taxonomies as relationship “AND”, but then the different Custom Taxonomies as “OR” within eachother.

I know I can use https://connekthq.com/plugins/ajax-load-more/docs/filter-hooks/ BUT I need it to dynamically filter the query based on variables on the page, so I can’t pre-set them if that makes sense.

    Thanks ever so much,
    TJ

    Hi @tjldesigns,
As you already know I like to point users the the alm_query_args filter πŸ™‚

I really don’t think you can accomplish this with simply shortcodes or the shortcode builder.

I need it to dynamically filter the query based on variables on the page, so I can’t pre-set them if that makes sense.

Could you do this if you used session variables? And accessed them inside the alm_query_args filter.

    Cheers,

Thanks for the reply Darren, so sorry I haven’t had change to reply, I thought you might say that hehe, but just wanted to sanity check. I will have a play with the session variable approach. Thank you again as always πŸ™‚
