Query issues

I ran a database performance check on my site using Jet Profiler. Surprisingly, some of the bad queries was related to this plugin. Here is a snapshot: http://i.imgur.com/BwF9Maa.png

This is to the plugin author, have you considered options to improve the performance of the queries? Have you ran checks yourself? It would be a shame to abandon this otherwise a must plugin.
