First of all thank you for this great plugin! i really love it.

I am turning my static php site which uses a mysql database with a list of products into a wordpress site and am using wp table reloaded for all my products.

Because i’m using jquery sliders to choose a price etc i need help querying against a table id of wp table reloaded.

Is this possible? ifso could you please help me achieve it?

    many thanks in advance.

    Hi,

no, unfortunately, this is not possible, sorry.

WP-Table Reloaded (nor its successor TablePress) does not use a custom mySQL table. Instead, WP-Table Reloaded uses “serialized strings” that are stored using WP Options API in the “wp_options” table. TablePress uses “Custom Post Types” that are stored in the “wp_posts” table.
Both don’t allow direct mySQL querying for specific rows.

You will have to look for a custom mySQL/PHP solution.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias

    Thank you Tobias,

But is there a way to get wp table reloaded to work with a jquery slider which is able to target heading in the table?

    Hi,

I’m not exactly sure what you are trying to do here. Do you want the jQuery slider to get its data from a table? Then that’s not really a question for WP-Table Reloaded, but whether the jQuery slider supports HTML tables as a data source.

    Regards,
    Tobias

I think it’s better just to go with what i know. I will create a custom mysql table with all the data i need and use that to query.

thank you for your help Tobias

    Hi,

yes, that’s going to be the better long-term solution then.

    Best wishes,
    Tobias
