• Hi, after updating your plugin from version 7.3.7 to version 8.0.0 we encountered an error in the quantity of related bundles.

Going back to the previous version fixes the problem. Although two other orders had the same problem in the hours after switching back to the previous version of the plugin.

I bring you two screenshots of the problem encountered for two different orders with the same product bundle.

This is how it should be with quantity at “6”:

This is the error with the quantity at “1” instead of “6”:

How can we solve it? Can you give us more information?

    Thank you!

    Hi andrweb,

Please update to version 8.0.1 for this plugin and check it again.

It seems that both images you attached showed the same situation. If version 8.0.1 can’t fix your issue, can you kindly make a screen recording video for us to retrieve this issue on our test site?

    Best regards.

I’m sorry Janilyn, this is the right screenshot for the quantity at “1”:

We will try soon to update to the new version and let you know,

    Thanks!

Hello @janilyn409 we tried updating the plugin to version 8.0.1 but the problem is still persisting.

How can we solve it and show the right quantity at “6”?

    Thanks

Hello, I also have the same issue. After the 8.01 Update. Would it be possible to downgrade to 7.3.9 ?

    Hi andrweb & ossewei,

I tested our plugin on our test site carefully again today. The bundles are working properly with version 8.0.1.

You can check the screenshots to see the bundle I created similarly to your example to test and how the prices appeared in the checkout & order details:

    Bundle: https://prnt.sc/etHQnCeBT9RS

    Checkout: https://prnt.sc/a-zRaCGR-yfT

    Order confirmation: https://prnt.sc/pUXCO_SonEsb

    Backend order: https://prnt.sc/3JnbVkVn0Aqp

I can confirm that the latest version is working properly. It must be that something external of our plugin is causing a conflict on your site.

To be sure, you can kindly deactivate all other plugins and only keep WooCommerce as well as our bundle plugin to test with the order again.

I guess the conflicting source might be a plugin that controls quantity, dynamic pricing or discount rules on your site. It’s not certain since for issues of this kind, our developers will need to investigate from the backend admin dashboard to find the source of conflict. This is not something happens inside our plugin, but when combining our plugin with another one because it doesn’t happen when using our plugin solely on our test site and live demo: https://demo.wpclever.net/woosb/

Unfortunately, we can’t take any further step since this forum is public so it’s difficult to inspect further in the back end.

To download the previous version, you can kindly go to the bottom of this page: https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-product-bundle/advanced/

    Best regards.

    Hello,

I can not test, but i think i know the cause of this issue. I hope you can confirm.

When a customer logges in on my website, and checks his previous orders, he can reorder a product bundle directly, not “add to basked” from the webshop.

    Best Regards.

    Hi @janilyn409,

We have created a new staging version, updating your plugin to version 8.0.2

Unfortunately, a new problem has been added: when you click “add to cart” on a bundled product, it is not added to the cart.

After several attempts, we simply tried to update the product in the woocommerce products tab by clicking on the “update” button.

Magically, by doing this on all the products, the problem is solved: the bundled products are added to the cart and the quantity (the subject of the opening of this discussion) is correct.

Is it normal for this to happen? We don’t feel very confident in running this process live, as we don’t understand the origin of the problem.

Obviously before finding this trick, we cleaned the cache both on the site with wp-rocket and on the server. As you wrote in the changelog.

If necessary, we can provide you with a new staging copy by simply updating your plugin to version 8.0.2, in order to replicate the error and show you that the products are not even added to the cart.

    We await your kind feedback!

    Thank you

Hello @janilyn409, do you have any news for us?

    Thanks!

    Hi andrweb,

Our developers have just released a new update for this plugin. Please update to version 8.0.3 and clear the caches before checking again. You can kindly observe it for a while to make sure when caches are saved, the issue happens again or not.

I consulted your case with one of our developers, he said properly an external plugin that manages the order processing or inventory/warehouse and keeping caches is interfering with ours. Unfortunately, we can’t help you inspect further from the backend as it’s not allowed for free plugins on org. So all I can help is to give you instructions to troubleshoot this on your site only.

    Best regards.
