Thank you. I had missed that. Please update to version 1.1.8 (just released a few minutes ago). This fixes that. I hope this helps.
Hi Isobel, after further testing you can actually increase the quantity during the cart stage – you increase the quantity then click Update Cart and the total will then be increased past in maximum number.
Thank you for the details. I just fixed this in version 1.1.9. Please let me know if you experience any more issues.
Thanks for the update. If you now type the quantity in and it’s above the maximum quantity, then click “Add to Cart” a white screen is displayed and nothing happens.
That’s strange. My testing did not show a white screen. I’d be glad to investigate that if you wouldn’t mind providing a link to the page. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks Isabel, here is the link to the page:
I’m a creative rather than a coder, so I’m running and testing on a Mac (Safari and Firefox).
I’m sorry for the delay. I tested adding more than 5 items to your cart, and the error I get is:
NetworkError: 500 Internal Server Error – http://220.127.116.11/~acmeseal/?…
I tested both, updating from the cart page, and adding more quantity from the product page. Same error both times.
This usually means the error is unrelated to the plugin or theme. It could be an error in the configuration of the server, but it’s hard to guess. There should be some information about this error in your web server log (error logs).
This is a strange one as I’ve tested it again using Safari, Firefox and Chrome. On Safari and FF I get a white screen. On Chrome I get a little pop up saying Value must be less than or equal to 5, so that seems to be working okay.
Using a Virtual Box, I’ve tested using IE and this is bringing up the 500 Server Error.
De-activating the plugin and everything works okay on all platforms/Browsers
Any ideas? I’m stumped!
My test was in Firefox. Since it’s a “500 Internal Server Error”, I really can’t guess without knowing what the server error logs show. There should be a clue there as to what the problem may be.
