@catfish71 – I have good news and I have bad news …
First the bad, qTranslate and the current version of NextGEN Gallery (2.0.59) are going to have issues, but the good news is that we believe we may have sorted out most if not all the issues with these conflicts and will have them sorted out in a future release.

that are good news for me too. I used NextGEN on my first blog and I’m very happy with this gallery. Now I started a second bilingual blog for other topics and came to the same problems.
But it’s good to hear that you are already work or even better solved these issues.
Would be nice to know a release date of the new version. I like to get my albums runing in multiple languages.

@catfish71 & @waldbahner – Unfortunately we do not have a release date on these updates as they are still in internal alpha testing by our developers and will need to pass through internal beta testing then external beta testing before we consider them suitable for a possible stable release.
Feel free to keep watch on this page for more details: http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/nextgen-gallery-latest-beta/ …. but it will be some time before I expect we will be posting any news regarding these particular advances.
