    # add a trailing slash to /wp-admin
    RewriteRule ^/([_0-9a-zA-Z-]+/)?wp-admin$ $1wp-admin/ [R=301,L]

    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -f [OR]
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} -d
    RewriteRule ^ – [L]

I am also using qtranslate. You have to go into each subsite to activate and configure it. Regarding the htaccess, my hosting service configured it for me with some help from Andrea.

Mine is exactly the same as yours
except I have the blog thing in there.
Don’t ask me what it means.. Andrea will know.

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteRule ^blog(.*)$ http:/$1 [L,R]

    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteBase /
    RewriteRule ^index\.php$ – [L]
