    Hi there,

What is the issue with qtranslate exactly? We recommend using WPML, but other translation plugins should work as well.

When i chance the language in my site the wp ultimate receipt components do not change. The language is always the installation one (italian)
Below the link to the plugin. As you can see it is really one of the most widely used..

Apparently you can use shortcodes to have different languages for recipes: https://wordpress.org/support/topic/qtranslate-x-and-types-custom-post-fields

This is an example he gives:
[:nl] Dutch tekst [:de] German text [:en] English text

I know this solution, but I would like to use the traslations of .mo and .po file for all the lables showed in the front end, such as the input form lables (for the content of the receipt, that I will write, i will use the solution [:XX])

The other solution is rewrite the entire .mo and .po fils with [:XX], but it is not a recommended solution, it is time consuming, and in general it is not necessary for compatible plugin (almost all the plugin I use)

Doesn’t it automatically use the available translations in the frontend? We have .po and .mo files for plenty of languages.

It does not seem to use the available translations. I don’t know if it is a compatibility problem with qtranslate x plugin or if it is just mine..

I’m afraid I’m not familiar with how their plugin works exactly. Is there anyone you can contact at their end for support? They can probably tell what the issue is.

    I found this link

    from this support forum:
    https://wordpress.org/support/topic/integration-to-estatikreal-estate-plugin

I don’t know if can help, at list to understand if WP Ultimate Recipe should be compatible. If it is not, please let me know if you plan to make the plugin compatible.
    thanks

We recommend using WPML for multilingual websites and will not add any specific compatibility for other plugins.

That said, nearly all our strings are translated in multiple languages, so I’m not sure why qTranslate is not using the correct language when displaying them. No specific integration should be required for that.

Hi Ositive, have you find any solutions? I’ve the same problem…Thanks!

Hi Brecht, are you sure that the plugin correctly run with WPML? I can buy it but I would be sure that it works… Thanks a lot!

Is far as I’m aware there are no issues with WPML. Just make sure to follow these instructions: http://www.wpultimaterecipe.com/docs/multilingual-support

Hi elisagrn, no solution found different than rewrite the entire .mo and .po files with [:XX] (at least for front end translations).

    Hoping for future compatibility 🙂
