# QR code & Written Code, Both Serving Up As Invalid

 * It’s entirely possible the following is attributable to user error…
 * I’ve installed WP-2FA. 
   I’ve downloaded Google Authenticator for iOS. I navigate
   to [Configure WP-2FA setup page](https://melapress.com/support/kb/wp-2fa-configuring-2fa-apps/?utm_source=plugins&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=wp2fa).
   I receive ‘Invalid’ when scanning the QR code.I receive ‘Invalid’ when entering
   in the written code.
 * Should I be scanning my own unique code equivalents for the codes found on [Configure WP-2FA setup page](https://melapress.com/support/kb/wp-2fa-configuring-2fa-apps/?utm_source=plugins&utm_medium=link&utm_campaign=wp2fa)?
   If yes, I do not see a location within my WP Admin Backend where such codes might
   be found.

 * **OP Follow-up:**
   This was totally my own misunderstanding of how to utilize 
   the plugin based upon the written documentation.**Solution**_ (for anyone who
   finds themselves in similar situations)_:Use the plugin to generate the WP-2FA
   frontend page.QR codes will be generated by your website.QR codes will be presented
   to Users during WP-2FA setup of their account.
