Support » Plugin: Query Monitor » QM finish vs page finish

Hello! I am trying to track down the cause of the slowness of my WP back end. I have a simple question:

When QM shows its values in the toolbar at the top of the page, does that indicate that the page has finished downloading? And if so, and yet the page is still not finished in the browser, is the problem on my end (lack of mem, lack of CPU, something)?

I’m getting QM numbers a few seconds before the page has finished in the browser, and I’m just wondering if that’s a clue as to where the problem is.

    Thanks!

The short answer is yes, and this may mean there’s probably a network connectivity issue with your site.

You can see network timings from your browser’s developer tools panel, for example in the Network tab in both Chrome and Firefox’s developer tools.
