Q2W3 Fixed Widget no longer works

    Hi.

    I tried many themes in my http://www.pushevs.com blog and Hueman is by far my favorite. However, since the introduction of the sticky sidebar feature in this theme, Q2W3 Fixed Widget plugin has stopped working.

    The advantage of Q2W3 Fixed Widget plugin is that you can choose exactly which widget or widgets you want to stick in the sidebar, unlike Hueman which only allows to make the whole sidebar sticky.

    Q2W3 Fixed Widget allowed me to stick the second widget in the sidebar (AdSense Ad), which is great since I don’t want to make the Ad widget the first thing that is seen when the page loads, but I want to make it stick when the user scrolls down and the Ad appears.

    Is it possible that in a future release of Hueman we can choose which widget(s) we want to make sticky, instead of the whole sidebar? Or at least make Hueman compatible with Q2W3 Fixed Widget again?

    This is the only reason why I’m considering to change the theme. The Header Advertisement Widget is also very buggy, but I don’t need it as much as the option of choosing which widget to stick in the sidebar.

    Hi,

    You can go to Appearance -> Customize -> Main Body Design -> Sidebars
    to uncheck sticky sidebar option.

    Hello.

    Yes, I know, but even then the Q2W3 Fixed Widget doesn’t work with Hueman, ever since this option was introduced.

    Today I also tried the Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll plugin and didn’t work either.

    Both plugins worked fine in older Hueman versions…

    I tried to use this plugin too, but it didn’t worked.

    I have to say that for example with the Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll plugin I can make sticky any element that isn’t in the sidebar, such as the menu bar.

    The only thing that doesn’t work is exactly what I need, make elements in the sidebar sticky.

    Yep, I have a widget in the side menu that I need to sticky, but it doesn’t… :/
