@pimwick I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials. I have flagged your account temporarily. That just means that your post will need to be approved and @ notifications from you will not work.

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.
If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.
Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.
@pimwick please do you have any news regarding this? Supposedly it would just be a matter of checking or unchecking so the fields “from”, “to” and “message” display. But these fields are not appearing.
Please advise.
Thanks,
Hello, I receive a 404 file not found message when I try to view the gift card product. Most likely this is because the product is not Published. In order for me to review the publicly-facing CSS I need to be able to see the product.
Can you publish the gift card product on a test site so that it doesn’t affect your customers but we can troubleshoot further? Thanks.
@pimwick Good morning, Ok the product is now visible on: https://ak-interactive.com/product/gift-card/
Please advise once you’ve finished checking so I can make the product private again.
Thank you.
@pimwick You will see there is no button to add to cart, I have made this display:none, so clients cannot purchase the cards.
When I view the source code for the page I don’t see “pw-gift-cards.js” file being included. This is included when the wp_enqueue_scripts
hook is called.
Either the PW WooCommerce Gift Cards plugin is disabled or there is something on the server (another plugin or theme) that is preventing the wp_enqueue_scripts
hook from firing correctly.
Can you verify that the PW WooCommerce Gift Card plugin is active? If it is, please check the server logs for any errors that may be preventing wp_enqueue_scripts from firing correctly by following these steps:
1. Log into your FTP site and edit wp-config.php
2. Set the following values (add the lines if they don’t exist):
define( ‘WP_DEBUG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_LOG’, true );
define( ‘WP_DEBUG_DISPLAY’, false );
@ini_set( ‘display_errors’, 0 );
3. Return to the gift card product page and reload.
4. Now go back to FTP and send me the file /wp-content/debug.log
5. Return to wp-config.php and set DEBUG back to false (reverting the changes made in Step 2)
We’re marking this thread as Resolved but let us know if you need anything else.
Hi @pimwick ,
I’m actually having the same problem as this person. I was hoping you could help. I followed the steps you indicated above and I can send you my debug.log file.
Thank you!
Hi @kimbuck please contact us directly via our website https://www.pimwick.com for further assistance. This thread is already resolved and the fields not appearing can be caused by a variety of factors. Thanks for your understanding!
