Putting posts on different pages

    Sorry for a newcomer’s naive question, but my aim is to have links on a web page that point to a set of independent WordPress postings, each of which has appended an opportunity for comment and does not coexist with other postings on the same page. That is, I assume each posting would have a permalink (don’t know how to find out what these permalink assignments are). Now when I create a new post, it is inserted before the older posts on the same page.

    Use categories to categorize your posts. This will allow you to exclude categories from the main blog as well as displaying only posts of a certain category.
    i.e. yourdomain.com/category/links-to-friends
    You will then not need to create the list of links yourself.
