• Sorry for a newcomer’s naive question, but my aim is to have links on a web page that point to a set of independent WordPress postings, each of which has appended an opportunity for comment and does not coexist with other postings on the same page. That is, I assume each posting would have a permalink (don’t know how to find out what these permalink assignments are). Now when I create a new post, it is inserted before the older posts on the same page.

  • Use categories to categorize your posts. This will allow you to exclude categories from the main blog as well as displaying only posts of a certain category.
    i.e. yourdomain.com/category/links-to-friends
    You will then not need to create the list of links yourself.
