Putting opt-in box into body of blog

    Hello,
    I am trying to insert the code for an opt-in box into the upper RH side of a theme called Tarski. I posted a similar question previously and a forum member kindly answered me and showed me how to wrap in a div.
    I pasted the code in but could not see the results. Being new to this, I am obviously missing something here. Is there an optimal place to paste the opt-in code? Do I need to do anything with ndex.php? Do I need to do something with the css file? How do I assign margin/padding?
    I appreciate your help and/or suggestions where to go for more info. Sincerely, Steve

    Depends on the code and where you want the box to be displayed.

    Do I need to do anything with index.php?

    See above. 😉

    Do I need to do something with the css file?

    Depends upon how you want the box to be displayed and What you have in your theme’s CSS already.

    How do I assign margin/padding?

    Via your theme’s stylesheet. Start with style.css.
