Putting a blog inside an HTML page/tables

    Hello,

I am in the process of moving 3 wordpress.com blogs over to my new domain. I would like them all to look exactly like the main page at http://www.celebrityenglish.com – but I am a big loser and am only able to achieve my design goals through the use of tables. I have figured out how to strip the default theme of all color and such, and now I would like the pages to sit inside the tables of the original site. Is this possible, or do I have to make my own theme to do what I want to do?

    Thanks for the help!

Well, if you want your whole blog to look like your existing page – then yes, you need a theme that looks like that. You can achieve that even using tables. (Yes, many people will be horrified, but still, it is possible…)

On the other hand, a simple 3 column theme should be a good start for that layout, and shouldn’t be a big deal to modify it. E.g. take a look at Vesuvius – very easy to modify the colours and you’d be close to what you want. (use the theme switcher to see it in action)
