 * **Settings** > **Discussion** > **Allow people to post comments on new articles**
 * Uncheck the box.
 * If you have posts or pages that already have the comment box you need to do the
   following.
    - Click on Posts or Pages
    - Hover over the Post or Page title
    - Click ‘Quick Edit’
    - Uncheck the box ‘Allow Comments’
    - Click Update
