    The code documented[1] to achieve this says adding this to style.css will work:

    “To put the email input and the button on the same line:
    .widget_wysija .wysija-submit, .widget_wysija .wysija-paragraph { display: inline; }”

    But it has no effect. Playing around with Firebug – putting a float: left and float: right on the email text entry / submit button gets closer to the effect I’m after.

    Is there a better way to achieve this and why doesn’t the documented CSS method work?

    try adding the !import clause to your CSS styles, this way, it’ll overwrite the existing styles and it’ll work.

    Thanks for the reply. I should have mentioned that I did add the !important, but still no effect on optimumhealth.ie

    I added two fixes as described on your document. The margin modification works, but not the horizontal modification:

    /* mail poet – make form all one line */
    .wysija-submit-field { margin-top:0 !important; }
    .widget_wysija .wysija-submit, .widget_wysija .wysija-paragraph { display: inline !important; }

    Same scenario here. still can’t make the inline fields to work.

    Struggling with the same issue in Mailpoet 3. Just got it working, like this:

    #mailpoet_form_2 .mailpoet_paragraph {
    	display:inline-block!important;
    	}

    Be aware that the selectors in v3 probably have different names, but by accident I found out that display:inline-block does the trick…

    The 2 is the id of the form, I guess…
