  • Hi @juggernautplays, maybe there’s a compatibility issue with other plugins. could try to deactivate other plugins one by one for testing?

    I am having the same problem, and I have made no recent changes to my site. It just started purging every time I made any changes to my site including saving pages, posts, etc. It even occurs sometimes when I log in, which means I have to constantly rebuild the cache. Hope you can figure this out soon.

    Hi,

    In Advance tab , there is an option box called “purge all hooks” , and with dozens of values in there, if you remove them all , does that message still pop out ?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    Thank you for your reply. You cannot delete all of the values or it repopulates, so I tried deleting all but one value. The problem still remains, and I have tried this on several different sites I own or manage, and they all have the same problem.

    If you update a page or post it deletes the entire cache. I have unselected all of the options purge options in settings too, but it still purges everything.

    Any idea what is happening?

    Hi,

    if you remove all hooks in adavance tab , and uncheck all options in Autopurge options , that still happens ?

    Pleas check the advance debug log and see if there is anything

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    Yes, I did remove all hooks and unchecked everything in Auto Purge.

    I also checked debug and didn’t see anything, maybe I don’t know how to read it. But it seems odd that even if I disable the cache, it still purges the cache when I save a page, post, etc.

    Thank you for your replies, not sure what to do at this point. I can, of course, rebuild the cache after every update, but that is a lot of extra work on the server and for me. Hopefully, other people report this issue and there is a solution.

    Thanks Again!

    Hi,

    @dragonvain

    If you check your debug log , what do you see when it shows line like x-litespeed-purge: ?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    It is followed by these entries:

    X-LiteSpeed-Purge: public,stale,728_ => LSC->send_headers()@680 => WP_Hook->apply_filters()@286 => WP_Hook->do_action()@310 =>
    /home/site1/public_html/wp-includes/load.php@465

    X-LiteSpeed-Purge: public,stale,728_Po.212174,728_URL.1316709643cd0b024e37a7a6bf9c7f37,728_W.recent-posts-2,728_Po.205035,728_REST => LSC->send_headers()@680 => WP_Hook->apply_filters()@286 => WP_Hook->do_action()@310 =>
    /home/site1/public_html/wp-includes/load.php@465

    X-LiteSpeed-Purge: private,* => LSC->send_headers()@680 => WP_Hook->apply_filters()@286 => WP_Hook->do_action()@310 =>
    /home/site1/public_html/wp-includes/load.php@465

    X-LiteSpeed-Purge: private,* => LSC->send_headers()@680 => WP_Hook->apply_filters()@286 => WP_Hook->do_action()@310 =>
    /home/site1/public_html/wp-includes/load.php@465

    It will not allow me to remove all values as I mentioned previously, but I changed the last remaining value to wp_ in an attempt to disable all hooks, but it still purged everything when I logged in to my site, and also if I save anything, and sometimes just browsing the admin causes purging. I tested on a few more sites, the same thing happens on every site where I am using LiteSpeed cache.

    Thanks Again!

    Hi,

    I think I have figured out the problem. I added litespeed cache to a site, disabled all plugins, disabled my child theme, and it still purged everything. After I disable the Divi theme it stops purging. So there seems to be a conflict with the Divi theme, which is surprising since this is the most popular WordPress theme.

    I will contact Elegant Themes and make them aware of the issue.

    Thank you again for your help. I am not sure where the issue because I am only a designer and I know nothing about this sort of thing, but it only seems to occur when the Divi theme is active.

    Thanks again!

    Hi,

    Thanks for the update.

    May I know are you using Object cache as well ?

    Best regards,

    Hi,

    I am using object cache on the site I sent the debug log from, but not the other sites. If I disable object cache the behavior is unchanged.

    Thanks!

    Hi,

    Another possibly interesting fact. If I turn “disable all features” on, I cannot purge anything, even manually, which makes sense. However, if I save a page it will still give me the message “Purged all caches successfully.”

    Elegant Themes, the maker of the Divi theme responded that this was a third-party plugin issue so they appear to be unwilling to put forth any effort to resolve this issue, and I have no idea where the problem is so I am not blaming anyone for anything. However, I doubt I am the only person having this problem so I was hoping to find a solution not just for myself but others that may be having the same problem.

    Thanks Again!
