Hello guys! I’d like share an issue I’ve been facing, maybe someone have faced a similar issue and found a solution.
I have different payment methods. When the customer selects payment with credit card, after payment confirmation he/she is sent to ‘order-received’ page, and it works perfectly.
However, for other payment methods which are not processed by a gateway, like directly bank transfer or pix (in Brazil) the customer is sent to ‘order-pay’ page, which has instructions for payment or transfer receipt upload. Here is where I’d like to address a solution. When this kind of payment method is selected, it seems like Woocommerce does not consider as a purchase yet. So, as result, I don’t receive a purchase notification on my mobile from Woocommerce app and, the must imporant issue, the purchase event is not triggered in my analytics.
The absence of message is something I can deal with, since email is sent and I can always check orders in my panel. However, the absence of purchase event in analytics compromises my campaing measurements and smart campaing learning.
The perfect solution would be trigger purchase event (including all data, such as revenue, products, etc) when the customer reaches the “order-pay” page.
Does anyone knows how to do it or have found a solution?
    Thanks!

    Hi @kosoniscs,

Thanks for creating this thread and sharing the issue faced.

The plugin tracks conversion data on the store which follows standard WooCommerce checkout implementation. So by default, the order data gets tracked at the thankyou page which contains the “order-received” in its URL.

The mentioned suggestion about tracking conversion data on the “order-pay” page can be incorporated but the problem is that some end-customers don’t pay(Bank Transfer, Cash on Delivery, etc.) and the order automatically gets canceled. So, if such orders(unpaid orders) get tracked then there will be discrepancies in the tracked conversions.

Further, there is a solution to this gap as well about which we can’t write here as forum policy doesn’t allow us. If the communication mode would have been another one then we would have explained the solution.

Hope the above helps. Please let us know.

    Hello Conversios Team,
I am having the exact same problem.

I have sent an email to info@conversios.io. Is that a good way to contact you about this? or please, tell me what steps should I take to reach you and get this fixed.

    Thanks in advance.
