Purchase Event for WooCommerce Not Working

    Hi,

    I’m testing out the PixelYourSite plugin on our stage site. I’ve followed all of your instructions regarding its setup and there are a lot of WooCommerce events that are not showing up on the Facebook Pixel Helper chrome extension. Specifically, the Purchase event is not showing up. I tested it several times using PayPal and Stripe, but the Purchase event is not being triggered.

    Hi,

    The Purchase event won’t fire on that particular URL. It will fire after payment is completed, on a URL that has a few more parameters related to the order itself. So it’s possible that you look at the wrong URL.

    Right now I can’t confirm any problems with your website, especially since it looks like our plugin is not installed on it.

    Thank you very much for your quick response! 🙂

    I understand that the Purchase event won’t fire on that particular URL; I wrote that down to show that we are using the default WooCommerce thank you page and that’s the starting URL string.

    After much deliberation, we have eventually decided not to use the plugin anymore. Nonetheless, thank you very much!

    I very much suspect a cache issue, since the URL pattern looks correct.

    I will look into it once again and reconsider using the plugin.
