Purchase button stuck on spinning icon

    I was investigating a problem with PayPal payments not completing and I updated EDD from version 2.9.3 to version 2.9.6 to see if it contained a fix or made a difference. Now, the EDD Purchase button is stuck on the spinning icon and the item doesn’t get added to the checkout basket.

    Steps I took:
    – Successful test purchase on 2.9.3
    – Update only EDD to 2.9.6 (no other plugin or core updates)
    – Test purchase on 2.9.6 fails

    Wordpress is 4.9.7. I’ve since applied other pending plugin updates with no change to the behaviour. The EDD installation has been running since Feb 2017 with no issues until the PayPal problem I was investigating.

    Any clues how to figure out what’s happening?

    Hey @finalcircuit

    It looks like you are using a plugin that is putting all the JS files into a single one on your website. Could you check what plugin that might be and disable it ?
    Its not loading any of the EDD JS files so its probably still loading a “cached” version of the combined js files.

    I’ve cleared the cache and that’s fixed the problem. Many thanks for the suggestion.

    Just need to figure why PayPal properly isn’t working now. 🙂

    Hey Phil,

    Check the PayPal credentials/settings and try to clear any caching your site might have and in your browser. If you still have issues please open a new topic and provide as much details as possible and a link tot test if possible.
