    Is it possible to pull the post type portfolio instead of blogposts? If so, how can I do that?

    Hi, this version of Single Latest Posts supports default taxonomies only. The Premium version has advanced taxonomy capabilities.

    The way to achieve this in the premium version is:

    [slposts custom_post_type=portfolio]

    If you are using complex taxonomies like: custom categories and tags, it is possible to query for them as well:

    [slposts custom_post_type=portfolio taxonomy_cat=portfolio_category taxonomy_tag=portfolio_tag]

    There are also more powerful parameters to pull posts from database. It is only $9.99 check it out here: Single Latest Posts if you want to see a live example of multiple custom taxonomies using Single Latest Posts premium check this site: http://josedejesus.me/ which is my brother's (and partner) portfolio, he is a Designer so he used 3 categories for 1 custom post type to show his work.

    This is how it looks in his site:

    [slposts custom_post_type=portfolio
             category=design,illustration,photography
             paginate_client=true
             posts_per_page=1
    ]

    If you know how to code, you could tweak Single Latest Posts Lite to make it work for you, here is the Codex which contains useful information about post types: WordPress Post Types.

    *Edited to add further details about how it is used.

    Cheers.
