Hi there, @slashedbeauty. Could you please confirm this issue occurs after deleting any cache in your caching plugin as well?
How are you creating the favicon (e.g. theme editor) or another method?
I cleared my cache but I can’t confirm until I see my own story in Discover, so I’ll keep a look out. The Favicon is being placed by the settings Appearance > Customize > Site Identity in wordpress.
As of right now I see one of my stories in discover but it’s still my favicon after clearing cache.
Is this happening on iOS or Android?
iOS– I dont have access to an android so not sure how it shows up there.
Confirming I’m still seeing the favicon today on featured stories within the Google iOS app instead of my logo
Thanks for your feedback & for checking again.
I was just informed now that there’s a known issue with the publisher logo on Discover and that the favicon will be shown until its resolved.
So this is a known issue at the moment and should be fixed soon. But I don’t have an exact timeline.
Hi there, @slashedbeauty. Could you please check if you are still seeing this issue?
@slashedbeauty Thank you for confirming and for your patience. We’ll follow up with an update as soon as we have one!
