Pull data and save as custom post type?

    I am wondering if this plugin can save json data as a custom post type. It sounds like your plugin will take a WordPress site and send that data to a non-WordPress front end. I am looking for the opposite where the backend is something else and the WordPress frontend is pulling the json data from that non-WordPress source URL. What I am looking for is something that I will supply an APU URL like example.com/product and it can pull that data in and save it as a custom post type and then update when the data at the other end of the URL changes.

    The other end is not WordPress and just a json API. Does this plugin support that kind of use case or is it just WordPress -> Non-WordPress? Thanks.
